Empowering students and parents with tools, support, and confidence to unlock lasting academic success—together.

WHY EMPOWERED

Empowered Tutoring was born out of a deep passion and a real need. After over a decade working in education, mental health, and social work, and years teaching special education in Delran, Maple Shade, and Merchantville, I saw the same pattern over and over—kids struggling to keep up, parents feeling lost, and schools doing their best but still falling short due to limited resources.

As a certified special education teacher with a Master’s degree and training in the Barton Reading & Spelling System, I’ve helped students make incredible leaps in reading levels using proven, personalized strategies. But it became clear that true success happens when families are supported too—when parents are empowered to be part of the journey.

Empowered Tutoring was created to bridge that gap. To give students the tools, confidence, and support they need to thrive—not just survive—in school. And to guide parents through the sometimes overwhelming process of getting their child the help they deserve.

This isn’t just tutoring. It’s transformation. Every child has potential. Every parent deserves a partner. Empowered is here to make sure no one walks this journey alone.
