About Daisha Glenn

Daisha Glenn, M.Ed.
Special Education Specialist | Advocate | Educator | Neurodiversity Coach | Mother

Daisha Glenn is a dedicated educator, advocate, and proud graduate of Rutgers University, where she earned dual degrees in English and Psychology. With a deep-rooted passion for literacy, emotional wellness, and educational equity, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Special Education and now holds a K-12 teaching certification.

Before entering the classroom, Daisha worked extensively in the mental health field—serving as a crisis specialist at Jefferson Hospital, where she supported individuals and families during some of their most vulnerable moments. She also worked as a case manager in both Philadelphia and South Jersey, helping clients navigate complex systems and access critical services. This background in mental health continues to shape her approach to education, reinforcing her deep understanding of trauma-informed care, behavioral support, and the power of human connection.

A mother of four beautiful children, Daisha lives in Moorestown, New Jersey, and brings both professional insight and personal compassion into everything she does. Over the past five years, she has served students in the Maple Shade, Delran, and Merchantville school systems. Her work has focused on breaking through traditional teaching limitations, using innovative and inclusive methods that meet students where they are and guide them to where they’re capable of going. Her students consistently achieve academic growth beyond expectations—gaining skills, confidence, and independence at a remarkable pace.

Daisha’s teaching philosophy centers on the belief that all children can learn when they are taught in ways that honor their unique abilities. She uses evidence-based, holistic approaches to make learning accessible, joyful, and effective for every child. Whether it’s helping a student master reading fluency or equipping parents with strategies to support learning at home, Daisha is deeply committed to creating long-lasting, transformative impact.

“I’m doing this because I see the jump in my kids in my special education program, and I want to help more kids. I know in some ways the school system does everything they can, but some kids fall through the cracks—not because of the system itself, but because of the bureaucracy. I want to empower my parents and my students to have a great life. Reading and writing is the first step to a quality education.”

Daisha Glenn’s mission is to close the opportunity gap for students in special education—one family, one classroom, and one breakthrough at a time.
