  • What is the cost of speech therapy at EmpowerEd?

Individual speech therapy sessions are $95 per 30-minute session. Small-group speech therapy pricing is shared upon inquiry, with cost-sharing options available for families.

  • Do you accept insurance?

EmpowerEd Speech Services are private pay. We provide out-of-network superbills so families can submit sessions to insurance for possible reimbursement.

  • What is a superbill?

A superbill is a detailed receipt that families submit to their insurance company for partial reimbursement. We generate superbills after each session to make the process simple.

  • Why choose private speech therapy instead of insurance-based therapy?

Private care allows more flexibility, longer sessions, and highly individualized treatment. Insurance-based therapy often limits session length and goals, which can restrict progress and slow meaningful results. In many cases, families find that after insurance reimbursement through superbills, the out-of-pocket cost remains comparable to in-network benefits — with significantly higher quality, consistency, and personalized attention.

  • Are sessions individual or group-based?

We offer both individual (1:1) speech therapy and small-group sessions, depending on your child’s needs and goals.

  • When should I contact EmpowerEd for speech services?

You should reach out if your child has delayed speech, unclear articulation, limited vocabulary, difficulty understanding language, social communication challenges, or anxiety around speaking.

  • Can my child receive other EmpowerEd services along with speech therapy?

Yes. Many families combine speech therapy with academic enrichment, IEP support, BCBA services, and social groups. Our team collaborates to create consistent support across all services.

  • What ages do you serve for speech therapy?

We provide speech services for children ages 5–15.

  • What conditions do you support?

We support expressive and receptive language delays, speech sound disorders, motor planning challenges, selective mutism, anxiety-related communication needs, language-based learning differences, and autism-related communication needs.

  • How do you measure progress?

We track skill development, therapy goals, and family feedback to ensure steady growth. Progress updates are shared regularly with parents.

  • Do you offer payment options?

Yes. We accept HSA/FSA cards and offer flexible payment options through Klarna and Zip to make services more accessible.
